The Double R Farms
Welcome to Double R Farms. We are a third generation family run farm formerly known as Richen Farms. Our farm is located between Tacoma and Puyallup just off River Road next to Duris Cucumber Farm. After the passing of my father-in-law George W. Richen the farm land was leased out to various local farmers until the birth of our daughter. Sixteen years ago we were inspired to open Double R Farms as a way to help raise our daughter. We are hoping to make this a fourth generation farm. During the month of October our farm features a 5 acre corn maze and a large selection of pumpkins. Come try your hand at one of three pumpkin slingshots. We even have one just for kids. We offer tractor pulled hay rides on the weekends (weather permitting). Dogs are welcome on our farm as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. In our over 80 year old barn you will find decorative gourds, cornstalks, mini pumpkins, and edible squash. Over the years we have served our community by providing exceptional produce and customer service. Concessions with Lumberjack Popcorn Company go on sale the first weekend in October.
